Based out of Roanoke, Virginia, Black Plague combine aggressively melodic guitar riffs, thunderous bass tones, powerful and technical drums, and a massive range of vocals from screams to cleans to form a style of metal all their own. With widespread influences from Mudvayne and Protest the Hero, to Arch Enemy and Lamb of God, the band has taken every moment since they formed in 2013 to cultivate and hone their sound, and bring that to the professional stage and their growing list of fans.
Black Plague has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with bands such as Godsmack, Lamb of God, A Day To Remember, Of Mice & Men, The Offspring, Upon A Burning Body, All That Remains, Unearth, I Prevail, Beartooth, Mushroomhead, Avatar, Butcher Babies, Soil, Powerman 5000, Saliva, Soften The Glare, Dead Horse Trauma, Conquer Divide, and many more.
Their newest EP ‘Existence’ was released in mid-April ’18, recorded and produced by Jamie King of The Basement Studios, who has worked with bands like The Contortionist and Between The Buried And Me. They are currently writing new material for an EP release in Spring 2020.
