Lords of Acid with Orgy, Genitorturers, and Gabriel the Apocalypse

On March 7 I had the privilege of interviewing Sin from Lords Of Acid. The interview is on our Asgard Music Video Channel on YouTube. He is still an old school punk rocker. On stage he is all about the music and the feelings he gives to the audience. With his newest band members assembled from other bands and quite younger then himself, he rocks the stage like any person 25 years younger. The young lady that does the lead vocals now, Marieke Bresseleers, is more than a beautiful face. Her range of vocals surprised a lot of people in the crowd. I wanted to watch the reaction of not just the band but of the audience, no surprise to me that they love her. Marieke is a great singer and wonderful young lady. With the current lineup I believe they will be around until Sin wants to go back to farming in Belgium.

The opening band will always be one of my favorites. Gabriel and the Apocalypse gets on stage and owns the building. With their third album coming out, it is sure to be sold out in no time. It’s a newer sound than their last album, but still kicks ass. Why this band is still opening is beyond me. They are incredible to watch and talk to after their set. You can go and talk to any band member for as long as the line will let you. Line being the one where everyone is waiting to meet them. GATA show great love for their fans that you can see on and off stage. Crowd pleasing is what they have achieved over time. When they come out it’s balls (and chesticles) out. Nothing is held back to perform for their audience. I look forward to seeing much more of them in the future.
